OVERVIEW

Embark on a cultural odyssey in Kathmandu, Nepal, beginning with the awe-inspiring Boudhanath Stupa, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the largest stupas in the world, where Tibetan Buddhist rituals mingle with local traditions. Explore the sacred Swayambhunath Stupa, also known as the Monkey Temple, perched atop a hill with panoramic views of the Kathmandu Valley and adorned with colorful prayer flags. Visit Budhanilkantha, home to the impressive reclining Vishnu statue carved from a single stone, an iconic representation of Hindu mythology. Kathmandu’s spiritual landmarks offer a glimpse into Nepal’s rich religious tapestry, blending Buddhist and Hindu influences amidst ancient architecture and serene surroundings.

ITINERARY

DAY 01: ARRIVAL AT KATHMANDU

Upon arrival at the Tribhuvan International Airport, Kathmandu meet and greet by Office Personnel and transfer to the hotel.

After some relaxation, visit one of Nepal’s very popular and religious Hindu temples,

• Pashupatinath- The religious Shiva Temple, for Darshan.
• Boudhanath Stupa- holiest shrine for the Buddhist culture in Nepal Evening time explore the nearby local area, especially the Thamel area- The tourist Hub of Nepal.

Overnight at the hotel.

DAY 02: FULL DAY KATHMANDU SIGHTSEEING

Breakfast at the hotel. The day’s sightseeing includes a visit to

• The golden spire of the 5th-century, Swayambhunath stupa popularly known as “The Monkey Temple”,
• The fascinating Patan Durbar Square,
• Jal Narayan               temple (Sleeping             Bishnu) locally    known  as Budanilkantha Temple.

Return back to the hotel. Evening free for personal activities.       One can explore the local area of the city.

DAY 03: DEPARTURE

Breakfast at the hotel. Free for the day till departure. A transfer will be to the airport in time to board your flight for your onward journey.
